The Switchon gets FREE!!

"You are Ann?" someone asked me in the lift.
"Yes…"
There were 2 pretty girls in the lift talking to me. They are my colleague from another department. I should say my company is really the biggest I have worked. May be because it’s too big, I cannot make friends with colleague likes in my previous offices.

Another reason is that the colleague in my department is not in the same age group of mine. They are all busy on their own. I am so glad that I finally met colleague of my age.

"I know you coz’ I smoke with Eric.(my boss)"Christina said, "He said you just quited smoking!"
"Yes…" That’s what I could say.

These 2 girls are Jonie and Christina. Christina is quite a talkative ABC. She can make friends with everyone. I believe.

"Let’s have lunch tomorrow!"

So, we have lunch today! They communicate in English because they are native speakers. I think it’s really cool! I do need people to practice with me.

Angie is the old colleague of my university classmate Meg. Meg has told me about her, and I have tried to find her name in the phone directory, just because she is too new and her name has not yet added to the list. Today, we met finally.

Special issue: I met Lam Ngali today on MTR! She dressed elegantly, looks like a young married rich lady. She was not going shopping, but going home after work in MingPao. Thoughout the conversation, I tried so hard pushing her to attend our reunion with her 1 year old son and husband next time.

Annie, May, Meg, Erica and I went to see F4 Concert last Saturday.

It’s so bad that Erica and I were in the toilet queue when the concert opened.

Last concert is really a memorable one. The production is great and has full of surprises.

This time, after half of the concert ran, I didn’t really feel excited. Just full of spots of naked F4. For several times, I felt Coliseum was just a table dance club for women.

To make myself happy, I still found 3 memorable spots:

1. Vic and Ken played guitars singing Mayday’s "The Hug"

2. Vanness with Japanese Visual Rock glam look sang "I hate myself" Rock version.

3. Jerry played piano singing "The decoration".

I really got high for these 3 spots. However, I just gave a "so-so" rate for this concert overall.

Nice working place. Here is my desk.

I got a new job this week. I signed the contract on Thursday.

It’s cool, work just 5 days, everyday from 9am - 5.30pm.

I have never had this stable timetable.

I can join a English lesson, the learning centre is nearby my office.

I can sleep at 10pm and get up at 6am for jogging.

I still want to work for my career. Our company is a supplier of inflight video entertainment to nearly 80% of airlines. I am in-charge of coordinating dubbing of these programs.

What I looking forward to is:
1. to be a movie buyer
2. to be a in-house video program producer of airline.

I need to work hard!!

What a perfect life!

Tuesday

I called Memi after window-shopping in HMV.

"Let’s jogging tomorrow morning!" I said.
"Not for Wednesday and Thursday… Where are you now?" she asked.
"A tram in Central, on the way home."
"Get off of the tram! Come to join us for dancing!"

Ha, so I danced salsa that night. That’s my first time. I am not a good dancer but it’s fun to dance. Fanny has learnt Salsa for years, so she is the teaching assistant tonight.

When I was watching demonstration of Fanny, I saw my uncle in the crowd!! He said he has lessons every week.

I think I will join next week. Anybody wanna join? Call me!

One more time, a new job.

I hope this is my last "new job" this year.

I have left advertising world, finally. I believe in fate. I think as the OM producer doesn’t call me this month, even I have sent him an email to remind him my offer, no feedback from his side. So I believe, my relationship with advertising comes to the end. I need to find a new career path to go.

So, I find here. An inflight entertainment company. We arrange the production of the movie and Short tv program for the airlines. It’s a new good starting point. Nice salary, regular working hours, light workload.

I can go to bed every night at 10am and get up at 6am. Just like what I did when I was in secondary school. I also apply for english lesson. I would like to improve my english so that I can carry on my way in career.

My goal is –> buyer in International Film Festival!! Just like my colleague, she can go to Cannes next week!! It seems so exciting. I hope I can have this chance in future.

Hong Kong International Film Festival has been a big event of mine.

When I was a student, all the classmates enjoyed to buy tickets of strange movies. As a student, Half ticket price was offered.

Now, I just choose one or two films that seems interesting to see. It’s so unusual that I have chosen 4 films to see this year.

"Bubble" - Steven Soderbergh(USA) (9 April)
I just like the terrible dolls in the film. Of coz, I enjoy Steven’s low budget cult movie, so I am in!

"Be with Me" - Eric Khoo (Singapore) (15 April)
I have seen movies of this director in lessons when I was a film student. Usually movie of this director is quite "dark", but still you feel the warmth in the film. I like the concept of delivering love in a non-verbal way, that seems this movie is not as sad as his old films.

"Who’s Camus Anyway?" - Yanagimachi Mitsuo (Japan) (16 April)
I hope to find my old days in this film. That’s it. It’s a story about film students making movie.

"Taiwan Black Movies/The Nine Lives of Korean Cinema" - Documentary (17 April)
I usually choose a documentary to see each year. I have never known Taiwan has this kind of movie. It seems interesting. For the second half of this documentary which is about Korean Cinema, it’s only a bonus for me, may be I will enjoy it, may be I won’t.

This is my large project after the 4 photo shoots - My bf’s 1st birthday celebration.

I really want to prepare him the greatest memory of us, but turned out a memory of Happiness, Sweetness and Pain.

I got my sore throat since Saturday. As I dont want to disappoint my bf, we still went to Lamma Island.

I just want to have a new experience with him but I forgot a few things:
1. He fears dogs - Dogs appears every step on Lamma Island.
2. He wants to see football match - our apartment has no star tv nor cable tv. (We still enjoyed the football match in a bar)
3. He dont like outdoor activities. - I really want to go out with him.

Seems everything goes wrong. Seems just comfort my will of celebrating birthday with my bf.

He still shows happy face every seconds.

Thank you very much for his love.

He may not feel happy this birthday (and turn out he also got sore throat today), I swear to give him a better birthday next year. I learnt this time.

I am tired of this kind of living pattern. I would like to have a permanent job right now.
